Lost post

So I wrote a new post, have no clue where it went. I think it's on someone else's page. Sure do hope I find it. Seems to me I need to learn more on how this new digital world works. There are so many apps, different programs........well perhaps tomorrow after my post has whirled around the universe it will pop up. If anyone finds it let me know.

Ready-set-go, getting together for Stitches West

Well it's that time of year again, preparing items for brother Jon's booth and planning what I might be purchasing. As always looking forward to it with anticipation !!! I am trying to finish UFO's, but it is taking more time that I planned. lol My Origami sweater is in a bad state as the yarns not the same dye lot even though the tags say it is. So What's up with that? I will see what the yarn company has to say at Stitches. Off to knit !

Yikes 2011

So it's a new year and I took a look at the beginning of last year. Still going through my patterns and taking a look and UFO's---- to rip or not to rip that is the question!!! I am looking forward to Stitches West just for the touch and feel of everything. I certainly don't need anymore yarn. Today I got the e-mail from Blue Moon Sock Club...........so tempting, but I don't need another sock yarn. Not to mention I haven't worn the socks I've knit yet! lol

I am going to try to keep organized this year and not hop from here to there. Focus will be my word of the year. "FOCUS" in all areas of my life, not just knitting. It's time to stop feeling scattered.

I will post again and see how my progress goes.

Yikes sock it to me...........

O.K. so here I am knitting socks day in day out. I swore I would never do them. I wondered why would anyone knit socks. Now lookie here......... what am I doing. Why, nice and portable, fun, great gifts. I don't know seems to be addicting. Scary. what a wonderful way to pass the time while waiting anywhere. So sock it to me socks lets get on with it.

OMG.............socks socks and more socks

Here I am its April 17th and I have been knitting socks, working on them daily. Why hummmmmmm tis portable and small to tote around. But wow is this really me??? The gal who swore NEVER NEVER to knit socks, yes tis me. Amazing, a reflection on the statement "never SAY never".

So I will knit inside,outside, up and down, left and right, round and round. Socks for you and socks for me, socks for all the family !

Organize, organize

So the new years begun and I am getting my patterns all organized. Wow have I got a lot of patterns, too many for a life time. After doing a virtual study on how long my life could be- I now know that I will never accomplish all the knitting I would like to. So I hope the Lord above will have a place for me to knit royal garments and goodies to beautify heaven. I hope to spend many hours in the new year creating awesome works of art to wear, and share. I've also organized my stash and have found some wonderful fibers that I forgot that I had purchased. I am blessed beyond measure. On with the show......knit one purl two......here we go.

Knitting on New Years Eve better than a drink anyday

Tonight many people are toasting in the New Year, as for me it will be with Dick Clark and Jimmie Dale. Oh and a set of knitting needles and yarn. Now that's what I call bliss. Did I forget a fire in the fireplace with the dog on her bed. I feel blessed in so many ways.

Good bye old year, welcome in New.

year end......resolutions

Well another year is almost to the close, projects mostly completed. A few to finish. A great year of learning. I could not of asked for a better time in Washington. What a blessing each and every knitter was to me. I am inspired, rejuvenated and looking forward to growing more and more. I am looking forward to Stitches West, Jon will have a booth and introduce his wares to the knitters of the west coast. How exciting !!! Life is good, friends and family are close and dear.

Now to begin................................another project

The knitter's Crunch

With Christmas around the corner it's time to knit, knit, knit----that's what I am doing. The only problem is the tree isn't up, the BIG question is will it get up????? I just can't seem to get it together. This is the first year I have felt this way. I ming is a confusion of knit purl and yarn overs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yep the sock is done, not perfect, but DONE. Now to do the mate. The heel ended up to be done in a kitchner stitch with a mistake or two. Not to fear it is done and will not be frogged again EVER !!!!

To heel or not to heel

Froggin again and again, don't know if this purple sock will ever be complete. Perhaps it's time to begin a new pair...............and then the purple haze will just remain a haze---- to be a "work of art", a memory of fun at the lake. Perhaps this is all a dream from the hoze zone. Well another day knit one purl two.

Sock it to me

Today is the day for froggin, took out the heel of me purple haze sock and will hopefully recreate it tomorrow. Working on preemie hats for S.F. Kaiser nursery. I love the "Tiny preemie short row hat" very portable and nothing to remember. Wish I could sit and knit all day long. Work is becoming stressful and I have decided to take a day each week to devote to what "I" need,, wether it's to do laundry, create or sleep. I've got to do that or I think I will go nuts.

knitters block or am i stuck in a wad of yarn??

I have so much I want to do, but no time to do it. I need to have a notebook near for when ideas come to my mind. Wish the computer was with me all the time. Ideas for knitting and now I am starting to get new thoughts about how to design stitches. Never thought i'd look in that direction.

endless in purple haze

So now it's done the purple sock is complete. too big, but complete. Now to determine where to adjust and rip or live with it......................I will think on this some more. Perhaps I will keep it as the "lone sock" a work of art, a reflection, a strange coaster. Who knows.

Purple haze in limbo..3 needle bindoff??????

So here it is late at night, gonna finish this here sock............haha start the three needle bind off.

Forgot to actually "bind off" so now rippin again. Too late-- too dark....droppin stitches. Never try to do this when tired. Put it down and wait till the morrow.

Needles...stuck on me

Working to finish the famous multi million dollar sock. It's almost complete. The injured finger is still sore and tender. amazing how this sock has affected me life. It's had many revelations .................you never know just what you can learn from a sock.

Heel and toe here we go.............

Where is it??

Seems like it's "overload" so much to knit.......so little time. Perhaps I will take up knitting in my sleep. Need to organize everything. Hopefully I will learn more on "Ravelry" and get it together.

The purple frog

Well what can I say, the purple sock has been "Frogged". Again, but now things are looking up, up the leg that is.
